Steve Bannon first met Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke three years ago as editor of Breitbart, a right-wing news website. “Steve Bannon was impressed by the cardinal’s grasp on what the key fundamental issues are,” said Benjamin Harnwell, a British Catholic who arranged the meeting.
