As the Universal Declaration of Human Dignity states: ‘the proper relationship between the individual and the State is the latter exists to serve the former and not vice-versa. This Declaration is based on a thoroughly profound understanding of the dynamic that to be politically free one must also be economically free; and to be economically free, one must be recognized as morally free.
